ARTIST STATEMENT I was born in Alexandria Egypt. At the age of six, during the Suez Crisis, I left with my family for Israel. Six years later we migrated to Australia. After attending Dover Heights High School, I studied art at East Sydney Technical College and went on to work as illustrator and cartoonist for many years. In 2003 I decided to paint full time. To enhance my painting skills, I attended classes at the Julian Ashton Art School. I now enjoy exhibiting my paintings regularly in solo exhibitions as well as group shows.
